Barnardos supports children whose well-being is under threat, by working with them, their families and their communities, and by campaigning for the rights of all children. We work to improve the lives of all children in Ireland, and in particular children who face barriers in reaching their full potential.
In 2016, with the help of our supporters, we worked with more than 14,100 children and their families across Ireland, providing life changing services out of our 40 project centers located in the heart of communities across Ireland.
We provide programmes and services that help children to develop their social and emotional skills, as well as build their capacity to learn and get the most from education. We work with parents to develop the skills needed to create a happier and healthier environment for a child to thrive.
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our donors. This support means we can be there for those children and families who may have been left behind.
Volunteer or hold a school fundraising day for our National Collection Day on Friday 15th September or book an information talk. Contact us today to hear how you and your students can help change lives and create brighter futures.
