Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park is set on 60 scenic acres of woodland / peatland in the heart of Irelands largest bog – the Bog of Allen. The Park recently won “Best Environmental Innovation” at the Irish Tourism Industry Awards 2017 for its work on rehabilitating cutaway peatlands and educating visitors on the potential of Irish cutaways. The Park offers a range of tour options to students including:
Field Trips (Leaving Cert Biology) – €12.00
Geography Tours (Junior Cert – Soil / Migration / Land Use / Economic Activities / Energy / Peatlands) – €10.00
History Tours (adapted to suit class year – 1798 Rebellion / Famine / Neolithic / Early Christian) – €10.00
